June Wasser, M.A.

June Wasser serves as the Executive Director of the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA, overseeing its direction and implementation of its programs. Wasser brings extensive experience in the promotion of clinical and translational science, with a focus on policy related to the translation of medical research into real-world application. She has a keen interest in health care improvement via innovative research and education programs.

Prior to joining RUF, Wasser worked as a consultant to academic and nonprofit organizations. She was the founding executive director of Tufts University’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute, where she established an organizational infrastructure and management process in support of a wide range of clinical research. Her role involved informatics, community engagement, regulatory science, strategic planning and communications. Wasser was also an instructor of medicine at Tufts’ School of Medicine.

Before her time at Tufts, Wasser worked as a contractor to the Department of Defense on educational programming for health professionals. She has held senior management roles at the American College of Cardiology Foundation, WebMD and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and has held positions at Northwestern University Medical School and the University of Chicago Comptroller’s Office.

Wasser holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. She completed two additional years of advanced graduate studies at the University of Chicago.
