This form allows members of the public to describe personal or professional experiences regarding the use of opioid medications for the management of pain and addiction. Patients, family members/caregivers, healthcare providers, drug developers, and others are encouraged to submit comments. We also encourage suggestions for how to improve the regulation of opioid medications and facilitate the development of safe and effective nonaddictive medical products to treat pain or addiction. Written comments will be accepted until September 23, 2026.
